Solar Construction Project Manager - Commercial
Brooklyn, NY
Full Time
Manager/Supervisor
Solar Construction Project Manager (Commercial)
Location: Brooklyn, NY | Hours: Full-time, 40 hrs/week | Status: Exempt, Salaried
About the RoleBrooklyn SolarWorks is hiring a Solar Construction Project Manager to lead our commercial installations across New York City. This role suits someone who's equally comfortable walking a client through a project timeline in the office and walking a roof with an install crew.
You'll guide each commercial project through its full lifecycle, from the moment it leaves the sales team until final closeout. Day to day, that means keeping clients, engineers, subcontractors, and BSW's internal teams aligned so every system is built safely, on time, and to spec. One day you might be reviewing drawings or tracking a permit; the next you'll be on-site making sure the installation goes to plan.
We know few candidates bring equal strength to both sides of this job. If you're a strong project manager still building your field and construction experience, or a seasoned construction pro who's newer to the formal PM processes, we'd like to hear from you. What counts most is drive, adaptability, and real enthusiasm for solar.
What You'll DoPre-Construction & Project Setup
What We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone with a strong foundation in at least one of these two areas — project management or construction/field work — and a clear willingness to grow in the other. If you have both, even better.
